God in Sports

Last Sunday after the Indianapolis Colts finally won the AFC Championship their owner, I forget his name, stood on the podium and told the world that God was the reason that they were going to the Super Bowl. Now I am not going to pretend to have any idea as to whether or not God can alter events here on earth, but I would bet everything I have that he doesn't give a shit who goes to the Super Bowl.

Other things I don't think God cares about:

Whether or not your team will ever win the big one
Who has the homerun record
The MVP of any sport
Hall of Fame ballots
Anything to do with the New Orleans Saints
